Could you switch on and off a light bulb only with the power of your mind? Well, ECHORD++ scientist Francesco Maurelli could try for himself at Innorobo 2015 in Lyon and was duly impressed that it’s actually possible. The event in France showcased a huge variety of technological innovations that offer solutions to today’s and tomorrow’s societal challenges, far beyond the possibility to turn off the light in the kitchen while sitting in the living room.
Of course, Francesco used the capacity of his brain mostly not for illuminating the event, but to promote ECHORD++ and especially our Robotics Innovation Facilities (RIFs). These three facilities located in Bristol, Paris-Saclay and Pisa-Peccioli offer access to high-tech robotic equipment and expertise at zero risk. They are open to anybody, using them is free of charge and the protection of the visitor’s intellectual property is guaranteed.
We are sure that a large part of Innorobo’s visitors from industry, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and research institutions are interested in the opportunities of the ECHORD++ RIFs. Therefore, we would like to thank the organisers for the opportunity to have a booth at the event and for the nice robot shows. See you again!
