University of Ljubljana (Univerza v Ljubljani), Slovenia, was established in 1919 on the foundations of a long-established pedagogical tradition. The Laboratory of Robotics at the University of Ljubljana has long-standing excellence in the field of man and machine movement analysis, motor control, rehabilitation, and clinical work. Main research and development activities are in in the fields of human-robot interaction, haptics, rehabilitation and advanced interactive control of complex robotic devices in combination with VR. Members of the lab received The 2010 EUROP/EURON Robotics Technology Transfer Award, 3rd prize. The group was a partner in the EU funded projects SENSATIONS, GENTLE/S, I-Match, Alladin, MIMICS, Evryon, CareTOY and CYBERLEGs.
