The ECHORD++ experiment EXOTrainer, developing an Exoskeleton which will help maintaining the physical state of children with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), has won the ECHORD++ best picture award. The picture of a child affected by SMA, walking for the first time in his life, trying to reach his parents, has received the highest scores from our jury members. During the award ceremony at AUTOMATICA trade fair in Munich the winning consortium has been awarded with a beam+ telepresence robot. Congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to all experiment partners which have submitted a picture!
