Encouraging Regions and Cities to Innovate through Robotics. OPEN CONSULTATION
Public authorities are faced with societal challenges in regions and cities that need innovative solutions. The ECHORD++ project launches an OPEN CONSULTATION that seeks to identify the potential of ROBOTICS to answer these challenges, improving and increasing current public services.
The Regional authorities and the Robotic Community are called to discuss about these innovative public challenges. And participate at the ERF 2018 E++ Workshop on March 15th.

With the world population ever increasing and the area of arable land limited, it is of paramount importance for the survival of mankind to improve farming efficiency and food security – from “farm to fork”. In the medium-term, robust and adaptive autonomous systems will revolutionize the way the farming industry can be run. The technologies developed in Industry 4.0 will naturally spread to Precision Agriculture and Food Processing industry, and let us envision AgriFood 4.0.
We make a call for novel ideas, technology transfer or interesting designs to give robotic proposals to these exciting regional challenges

Investing in resilience: a necessity of European Regions and Cities. Climate changes and natural catastrophes, terrorist attacks, pandemic diseases, man-made environmental disasters. We need solutions for aging infrastructures or infrastructures failure, chronic energy shortages, flooding, pollution, environmental degradation or terrorism.
