Fabrica 136 Srl is a spin-off company of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa, founded in 2002. The company acts as a link between university and industry, helping SMEs to undertake innovation projects and develop their own products to promote competitiveness. The company collaborates with universities and research centres to give SMEs consultancy at the edge of technology. Fabrica 136 also gives consultancy in the field of process qualification systems, information technology and production control. It also develops projects promoting clusters of SMEs complementary from a technological point of view.
Fabrica 136 srl participated in several EU-funded regional projects and contributed to the dissemination activities of EU projects as PureForm (FP6), Optimus (FP7) and Beaming (FP7).
